Jaydee Quantum 600
As we have explained already, The Jaydee Quantum 600 is a direct development of the Jaydee Ariel Atom 600.
But the Quantum is much more sophisticated in design. CAD, CFD and wind tunnel development is in progress. The chassis is Aerospace Al and Carbon/Kevlar for enhanced weight reduction and improved tortional rigidity.
The base model Quantum is fitted with a custom designed Holinger 6 speed sequential flat shift gearbox, and a Jaydee built Honda motor tuned to 400WHP with comphrensive traction control.
This engine is configured to be easy to drive at low speed, due to the Honda Vtec head design and VTC being fully controlled by the on board electronics. The motor idles at 750rpm.
Options including clutchless paddle shifting, power level upgrades to 600WHP, 88mm bore, 90.7mm, 99mm and 103mm stroke motors, CNC ported head with custom developed Jaydee cams and IRL valve springs.Extra strain gauges and laser ride height measurements are just some of the enhancements available to the data logging. As an option the logging can be loaded into LapSim for full vehicle analysis and computer track simulations. Front and rear dual element wings are also available. Wings are being developed using CFD, wind tunnel and track testing.
