We have now installed strain guage tranducers to measure wing performance on all pushrods. This is logged in the Motec ADL dash for instant readings and later analysis using I2Pro.

The strain guages were also very valuable in setting up the chassis. Here is old datalog from the std Atom 2 chassis. Look at the front wheel weights under acceleration.....The short wheelbase, poor weight distribution, and suspension geometry results in 10 to 30klg on each front wheel. Massive understeer is the result.

The rear uprights have been replaced with billot ones, featuring larger bearings, and a larger disc. The handbrake caliper was retained for ADR road use.
