Jaydee K24 twin series Rotrex torque/bhp at different wastegate boost levels.
The acceleration of the car has improved markedly going from the single C38-91 with 584WHP to the twins at 520WHP. The series install is unreal for low down and midrange torque.......80 to 120kph has improved to 1.0Sec, even though power drops off quickly at 7800rpm. The area under the torque curve is much bigger. Surprisingly its easier to drive. The high levels of acceleration start sooner, so your brain has more time to get used to and understand what is happening. Even though it all happens 10% or more faster. So to make the car more versitile and give purchasers a chance to get used to the acceleration I have been mapping the motor at reduced power levels. This is being done in preparation for the twins in parallel, as I expect boost will rise to 25psi capability. There is now a power contol dial adjustment on the dash with 375WHP being the minimum setting. I graphed 3 of the 6 settings, 375, 400 and 520WHP to show the effect of the changes.
